As you will appreciate, our clients trust us to ensure that all our candidates are vetted carefully, so we will ask to see originals of your identification, right to work documents, certificates of any other relevant paperwork. This normally takes place when you have registered.

After we’ve seen your documents, we then need to process your CRB check and take a minimum of two references from the past. When these are received, you are ready to start work.

You will recieve a Cardea identification card for security purposes with your unique ID (also your Cardea payroll number). Whilst you represent Cardea and are employed by them, the client also has responsibilities to you and you to them. For example, if you work for Schools or Care Providers you will be required to adhere to their conventions, policies and procedures

Cardea will pay you weekly via BACS into your bank or building society according to a timesheet that has been authorised by the client. If you are self-employed, you can be paid gross on receipt of an invoice or authorised timesheet and evidence of your Limited Company and VAT certificate if appropriate. If not Cardea will deduct the appropriate legal rates of Income Tax and National Insurance. Expenses are also paid at rates agreed and authorised by the client, provided relevant receipts are supplied.
